Hypnotherapy

"People do not come into therapy to change their past but their future."

~ Milton H. Erickson

I have found hypnotherapy to be a very powerful tool in my own life, helping with both physical pain, stress and anxiety. Having been lucky enough to learn from world-renowned hypnotherapists and N.L.P. (neuro-linguistic programming) experts: Paul McKenna, Steve Crabb, Tina Taylor, and Ali Campbell, I am delighted to be able to help clients deal with a broad spectrum of challenges.

All of the things we achieve through hypnotherapy can be achieved through traditional therapy - but hypnotherapy is much more efficient, faster and generally a lot more pleasant!

Be it banishing stage fright, managing stress, improving confidence, combating nerves or anxiety, cracking that fear of public speaking, finding more motivation, stopping smoking, learning to eat more mindfully, improving sleep, reducing sugar consumption, controlling pain, finding deep relaxation and much more, hypnotherapy can help.

By talking directly to the unconscious mind, we can help you to find real and lasting change, surprisingly quickly.

The beauty of hypnotherapy is that we don’t need to delve endlessly into the past to unlock the reasons why we have certain habits, behaviours or sensations, we can simply work with the unconscious mind to find new ways of being.

Through gentle relaxation, guided visualisation, breath work and the power of suggestion, true and lasting change is within your grasp. Every session is unique to you and you remain in control throughout. And because we largely work online, you don’t even need to leave home.

For an example of how I work, click on the gentle relaxation exercise below. Please only listen to this audio recording when you are able to fully relax and are not engaged in any activity which requires your full attention such as operating machinery or driving.

I also work with groups, such as drama classes, sports teams, community groups and corporate organisations to help with a range of challenges.
