Hello. Thank you for booking. I am very much looking forward to welcoming you to our upcoming online workshop.

I will send you a Google Meet invitation prior to the workshop. If you are unable to attend, please try to give at least 24 hours’ notice so that someone else may be offered your spot.

What to expect:

We will start with a short introduction.

Then, I will take your through some gentle relaxation exercises and you may wish to close your eyes. I may play some music or recorded sounds such as waves or birdsong.

We will then explore going deeper into relaxation using guided visualisation.

You may find yourself deeply relaxing and going into a light trance, similar to a pleasant daydream.

Please know that I will be checking in with you throughout, and if at any time, you are unsure of anything, you will be able to communicate with me, just as you would in your normal waking state.

At the end of the session, I will guide you back to full alertness, so that you feel refreshed, relaxed and optimistic about your future.

General Guidance:

  • Have somewhere quiet to be, where you can sit comfortably.

  • Ensure you won’t be disturbed. If necessary, put a sign on the door.

  • Ensure that any dependants such as young children, elderly relatives and/or pets are looked after in another room.

  • As best you can, make sure there is a strong and stable internet connection.

  • Check that the camera on your device is working and there is sufficient lighting for me to be able to see you clearly. Please make sure your device, and specifically your camera, is resting on a stable surface and you are not required to hold it during the workshop. Otherwise, as you relax, your hand(s) will drop and so too will your device. It is important for me to be able to see your face at all times, so that I can check you are following along and so that I can adjust as needed.

  • For your own comfort, please visit the bathroom beforehand.

  • Have a glass of water to hand.

  • Come with an open mind, ready to follow my instructions, and I am sure you will leave the workshop feeling more resourceful, relaxed and refreshed!
